LAW OF CURE

When not blocked by toxins, medications, or other factors, natural healing commonly takes place in the following manner:

  1. The most important systemic concerns are addressed before less important issues.
  2. Toxins move from top to bottom (or to the extremities) before being eliminated.
  3. What is no longer useful on the inside is eliminated to the outside (e.g., via stools, urination, perspiration, tears, and so on).
  4. The most recently occurring conditions improve sooner than long-standing ones.

Through the healing process, toxins are released and the body becomes stronger and more capable of defending itself from outside pathogens. Temporary aggravation of symptoms, which may indicate successful clearing, should be noted and questionned briefly without applying medication that might interrupt their release.

Some symptoms (including some that may have been hidden inside for years) may reappear before disappearing permanently. Examples of temporary aggravations might include brief bouts of diarrhea, worsening of rashes, or pains moving from the upper body to areas lower down. Old emotional issues may show up in thought s or dreams and then leave as suddenly as they appeared.

All of this information is useful in understanding the underlying causes of the primary complaints that bring you for treatment, so consider sharing these experiences with your practitioner at your next session. Most importantly, notify your practitioner of any major symptoms that continue longer than 24 to 36 hours.
